ANY AMOUNT: 50,000 to 50 pounds; from a shopping bag to semi-tractor trailer. ANY WHERE: on- or off-site locations around greater Los Angeles. ANGEL HARVEST’s specialty is our proper handling of perishable food. Our uniqueness is our proven dependability and professionalism. NO one does what we do. ANGEL HARVEST is the only program to: Pick up the un-served perishable food and any other foods; not just canned or packaged food. Delivers the food directly and immediately to approved soup kitchens and shelters for their next meal; not to a warehouse for storage. Give the food completely for free: with no administrative or per pound charges. Operates 24/7/365 to best meet the needs of our food donors. All donations of food are fully tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. We prefer, but are not limited to 24 hours advance notice, to best serve your logistical needs. Catered events: Provide us with the caterer’s contact persons’ name and numbers with the number of guests invited. We will show up on schedule, knowing that there is no guarantee there will be any food leftover. We come prepared. If there is no food, we are fine; simply continuing on our route to our next donors. Our staff commercial drivers, trained by the Health Department, will arrive at your location in our refrigerated truck with freezing capacity. They will meet your contact person, pack up and load your food while immediately issuing a tax-deductible receipt. Within an hour, your food will be delivered free to nearby emergency feeding programs for the hungry. Our generous donors are caterers, corporations, food service professionals, hotels, restaurants, wholesalers, manufacturers, distributors, brokers, retailers, advertising agencies, magazines, photographers, government agencies, churches and synagogues, schools and universities; all making a difference everyday. Our Assurances & Insurances are designed and implemented by our Board of Directors to assure our food donors added protection for their good faith donation of food.
