Volunteering with ANGEL HARVEST is a great way for your company to increase employee morale and reach out to your community while reducing the waste of good food. Company volunteer teams help collect and distribute good unused food every day.
Individual Volunteer Opportunities

Farmers Market Team
Volunteering to work with ANGEL HARVEST at the individual Farmers Markets throughout Los Angeles assists both farmers and hungry Angelenos. Volunteer teams visit the market to collect food donated by the farmers and load it on to ANGEL HARVEST trucks then which deliver the food directly to social service agencies in the community. The entire project takes less than two hours.
Your company or social organization may want to partner with ANGEL HARVEST to be responsible for the Farmers Market collection for a particular month or day of the week. Different team members can participate each week.

Office Team
We rely on the generosity of our volunteers to assist with daily office duties. Help us organize events, record food donations, make phone calls to donors, or send out mailings.
Special Events
Periodically, jump in as a volunteer. Join our special events team and help us make our events successful throughout the year.
You can distribute ANGEL HARVEST literature, collect canned food, or help with fundraisers. You will work with interesting people and the ANGEL HARVEST events are great fun.
Staff an ANGEL HARVEST Information Table
ANGEL HARVEST is invited to provide information at food industry events, church or synagogue functions, plus corporate or university volunteer fairs. Volunteers set up and staff a table, distribute literature, and answer any questions from people who might be interested in learning more about ANGEL HARVEST and hunger in Los Angeles.
