ANGEL HARVEST serves both the abundance of good food and at the same time, the need for emergency food by the hungry of our community.
Within an hour the food picked up from the food company is delivered to
a neighboring feeding program for their next meal. Abundance: good food is donated by companies, organizations and community groups. This food is good, un-served perishable food, baked, fresh, frozen, packaged, institutional as well as kosher, low fat, low sugar foods. Need: social service agencies are
providing emergency food to the hungry. These soup kitchens, food
pantries, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, shelters, day care
and senior centers are feeding the needy men, women and children in our
community.
